No matter which ESS membership level you choose, in a crisis all these services will be provided and co-ordinated for you:-
Vehicle Repair/Recovery
Attendance of a mechanical agent and repair/recovery of your vehicle or trailer.
Horse Transport
Replacement horse transport provided if roadside repair of your vehicle or trailer is not possible.
Livery
Overnight accommodation for horses, drivers and grooms if onward transport is not practical.
Veterinary Support
Emergency equine veterinary support.
Farrier Referral
Farrier support should your own farrier be unavailable. (This is a referral service only).
Slaughter/Carcass
In conjunction with veterinary support, emergency tasking of slaughter services and carcass removal.
Incident Management
Co-ordinating all emergency and rescue services.

How it Works
As a member of ESS, if you find yourself in a situation where you need urgent professional help, you don't have to worry. All you do is call us on our dedicated '0800' emergency number, identify yourself and brief us on the situation - we will do the rest. Our nationwide network then springs into action, organising and co-ordinating the support you need, calling your friends or relatives and informing them of your circumstances.
You won't even need to have money on you either. ESS will not only take care of any relevant bills, but we will cross-check charges to ensure that the right prices are being asked for the services provided. You are then invoiced at a later date, as applicable. All you have to do is remain with your horse until help arrives.

Non-Emergency Horse Movement
Even if you are not in break down situation, ESS can provide you with horse transport. Simply call ESS Incident Control on 01300 348997 between 08.00 and 22.00 and we will make all the necessary arrangements for you. Whilst this is a Pay-on-Use service there will be no 'on the spot' charges - you will receive an invoice once we have completed the movement for you.
